HAWKER LANE - westfield chatswood

Westfield Chatswood approached Avatree with a brief to conceptualise, design, build and install a permanent entry sign for its busy Hawker Lane Asian food marketplace.

Inspired by street food culture and traditional neon signs that were hugely popular in the streets of Hong Kong and Tokyo in the 1950s our Hawker Lane signage delivers a modern twist utilising formed LED neon flex characters on mounted layers to create an infinity mirror effect.

The letters are illuminated by pixel addressed LEDs that allow our programmers to move light and colour in any direction throughout the sign. The result - a stunning installation with endless illumination possibilities.
